Life’s window
Hands fascinate me, as I see a life’s story in peoples hands. It is like as window into the life of someone. The textures and lines in the hand along with the pronounced veins provide character to the image and make the observer consider a life past lived.
the boy who crossed
I was in the process of taking a photograph of the recently ‘gentrified’ buildings in Bur Dubai, next to Dubai Creek, when this little boy crossed in front of me. Even tough unintended, the picture provides beautiful contrast between his bright pose and the dark background. You can also feel his concentration as he reviews his hat.
Poppie and Saran
Never has a dog been more photographed than Poppie and loved to pose. She had an amazing temperament and brought many years of joy and happiness to our family. This photo was taken during a birthday party photo shoot for Saran, but Poppie insisted on getting in on the act. I love the light in this photo, it enhances Poppies hair colouring as well as matching Saran’s beautiful skin tone
